Guided tour of the Cemetery of San José

The green vault shaped by trees makes a ceiling for this open-air museum. You will walk by manifestations of architecture and sculpture, expressive and ideological designs, beautiful spots and surprising views. In one of the sections there is the only archaeological remain that have survived: the Alixares Arab Palace (XIII/XIV Century). Therefore, the Municipal Cemetery of San José de Granada is one of the most emblematic burial sites in Spain.
